Today we visited the brand-new themed playground in Donaustadt. How did we like it? Read on for our first impression!

The Playground

The playground has turned out absolutely beautiful! We especially liked the concept “From Caterpillar to Butterfly”: The smaller play equipment (“Caterpillar”) is ideal for toddlers, while the larger equipment (“Butterfly”) is perfect for older children. The idea of playfully representing a child’s development has been implemented very well here:

The play equipment is state-of-the-art, safe, and mostly made of natural materials – a real highlight! You can easily walk around barefoot.

The water play area also impressed us – a real plus on hot days!

Conclusion

The playground is definitely worth a visit – lovingly designed, thoughtfully planned, and suitable for children of different age groups.

On to the Cherry Blossom Park

Nearby is also the spacious Cherry Blossom Park with climbing course, playground, and large slide. Perfect to extend the visit to the Schrickgasse playground.
