It is located in the 10th district right next to the Generali Arena (Austria Vienna). We wanted to find out if it&#8217;s worth a visit, even if you don&#8217;t live right around the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignwide is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">    <div id=\"map\"><\/div>\r\n    <div class=\"no-wpautop\"><script id=\"config\" data-lang=\"en\" data-texture=\"tvnoise.webp\" data-texture-opacity=\"0.03\" data-zip=\"vienna\" data-source=\"playgrounds-filtered-vienna.1100\"><\/script><\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Violapark, the urban development project is not only creating the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wien.gv.at\/stadtplanung\/viola-park-2\">&#8220;Laa Viola&#8221; residential complex<\/a>, but also a modern neighborhood featuring around 800 apartments, a senior residence, school and kindergarten facilities, and local shops. The approximately 6,200 m\u00b2 park serves as a green oasis while providing a practical pedestrian connection between Erich-Sokol-Gasse and Laaer-Berg-Stra\u00dfe. The design reflects the park&#8217;s botanical theme: matching the crocus shape, 500 m\u00b2 of lawn were planted with spring-flowering bulbs alongside a 1,400 m\u00b2 wildflower meadow. While the real flowers provide food for bees and insects in spring, the giant crocus blossom invites children to climb, balance, and explore all year round. Combined with the nearby Laaer Wald recreational area and Kurpark Oberlaa, the quality of living and leisure in the area has been noticeably enhanced.
